Houston Astros - Minute Maid Park
With a goal of improving airflow performance throughout the Houston Astros’ Minute Maid Park, our team provided testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB) and retro-commissioning services for this project.
Our work included balancing the stadium bowl and club level to restore proper air distribution and occupant comfort. Given the stadium’s size and varying occupancy loads, our team identified equipment that needed repairs or recalibration to restore system functionality. Retro-commissioning uncovered aging or misaligned components impacting performance, such as dampers, fans, and controls. These deficiencies were documented in an issues log, allowing us to prioritize necessary repairs and adjustments.
Identifying these issues was essential for effectively completing the TAB process. This integrated approach allowed accurate system balancing and extended the lifespan of critical HVAC components, ultimately improving energy efficiency and overall operational reliability.
