Creating a gateway to enhanced education
When Lycoming College embarked on a transformative project for the campus and local community of Williamsport, they sought our program and project management team to help manage the project.
The project is a multi-faceted endeavor that features a new 30,000 square foot, 3-story building that will house the offices for university administration, outdoor leadership and education department, and an alumni and advancement suite. It will also include a center for enhanced academic experiences, various classrooms and study rooms, as well as a 200-seat presentation space. In addition to this new building, the development also highlights the school’s active collaboration with the City of Williamsport, through the revitalization and enhancement of the city’s east end and Old City Neighborhoods (which will include retail, dining and apartments).
What makes this project unique is that the funding for the project is a team effort paired through the College, the City of Williamsport, the County, and local developers who have secured both state and private funding. As part of the project scope, our team represented Lycoming College, coordinated efforts with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction in securing zoning realignment efforts, assisted in the solicitation and selection of the project team, budget, schedule, and scope management, as well as provided full owner’s representative project management services.
