Main Line Health wanted to improve access to care, enhance their patient experience, and support continued growth in the region around Devon, Pennsylvania. They engaged our team to design a comprehensive multispecialty outpatient destination on the first and third floors of an existing office building.
We provided planning, architecture, interior design, and engineering services, developing flexible clinical environments and drawing on adaptable planning strategies to deliver a facility that can evolve as healthcare needs change. Our design emphasizes accessibility, visibility, and connectivity, creating a welcoming outpatient destination that supports an efficient, patient-centered model of care and strengthens Main Line Health's presence within the community. Through thoughtful planning and adapting client standards to outfit existing shell space with building constraints, we were able to enhance the overall patient experience, improve workflow for caregivers and personnel, and provide a flexible foundation for future growth.
Main Line Health Devon provides a broad range of outpatient services, including advanced imaging modalities, physical therapy and rehabilitation, laboratory services, and primary care. By co-locating practices and support functions in one building, the project promotes operational efficiency, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a more seamless patient journey.
