A new office that allows employees to choose where they perform their work

Marriott believes that the workplace plays a key role in employee satisfaction—that’s why they’ve focused their efforts on creating workspaces that engage employees and provide a variety of work settings to accommodate individual work styles. Over the course of several years, our team has worked with Marriott to develop a thorough set of standards that enhance the company brand, provide innovative workplaces, and assist in staff recruitment and retention. These standards create continuity among offices and allow for aesthetic design solutions that celebrate regional cultures.

The Marriott Global Sales and Customer Care Center spans 65,000 square feet on two and a half floors and houses over 400 Marriott associates. We selected design elements that reinforce the region’s natural resources (stone, wood, raw metals) and its abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. Flooded with natural light and offering spectacular views, the space features a variety of work-settings to allow associates the ability to seek a venue that best suits the task being performed. The variety of options contribute to Marriott’s wellness initiatives by enabling associates to move about, change postures throughout their work day, and interact with other associates they may not normally encounter.
