Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center - Zuckerman Research Center

A world-class cancer hospital renowned for world-class research needs a world-class facility. That was the vision for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s (MSKCC) Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center. The 23-story building, one of the tallest research facilities in the world, accommodates 100 researchers and their teams in their quest to advance cancer therapy. Once the building was constructed, MSKCC called on our team to provide comprehensive project management services during the development, design, construction, move-in, and start-up phases.

With two below-grade vivarium levels, three magnetic resonance imaging suites, a radiochemistry lab, and a cell therapy and cell engineering lab, Zuckerman Research Center is the beating heart of MSKCC’s cancer research programs.

Our Project Management team managed the fit-out of the second phase of the project, which included critical facility upgrades such as replacing the existing Kettering Laboratory building with an eight-story building that now houses a 350-seat auditorium, laboratories, academic offices, and a permanent home for the Louis V. Gerstner Sloan-Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
