Montaje

Located at the center of Assembly Row’s Main Street and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and businesses, vibrant mixed-use residential development, Montaje is first high-rise residential tower in the Assembly Row complex. Situated on the site of a former Ford automotive assembly plant, the complex features storefronts that run continuously along the six-story base of the building, which is built of brick and ornamental steel details, reminiscent of historic mill buildings in the area.

Our team provided site planning and architecture services for this landmark 20-story modern white residential tower and mid-rise buildings. The development runs along the main retail street of Assembly Row and features active ground floor retail programs built of brick and ornamental steel details reminiscent of mill buildings in the area. In addition, an upper courtyard and pool deck, as well as rooftop amenities and terraces, provide spectacular views of Boston and Somerville.

Directly adjacent to the new Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Orange Line Station and with nearly 450 rental units, bicycle parking and a 670-car garage, the Montaje residential tower serves as a landmark and an integral part of the Assembly Row’s repositioning.
