Evaluating the Passenger AV Industry for short- and long-term planning

In the near-term, our client was looking to determine vendor interest and availability for a multi-week automated vehicle demonstration at their campus. The demonstration was part of an annual showcase and would feature a small fleet of automated shuttles transporting guests between two event spaces along public and private rights of way.

We were contracted to evaluate the current AV landscape with a focus on low-speed automated shuttles. Our AV Industry Analytics process investigated the client’s needs and provided vendor deployment readiness and product specifications, so our client had all the information they needed to move toward pilot planning and acquisition—completely replacing their traditional RFI process. We also provided ranked recommendations for these best fit tech solutions and ranking criteria to help our client further evaluate their options.

By fully understanding our client’s use-case, we were able to deliver a detailed report of all AV companies that met their needs in the short-term, while giving them the tools needed for long-term planning and acquisition.
