Developing an interactive homefront to inspire staff and recruit new talent
Originally based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, the Pulte Group wanted to relocate their corporate headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1950 and now the nation’s largest home building company, Pulte asked us to design a headquarters to represent its brand and to create a collaborative space for its employees.
This project demanded a great deal of planning. Pulte wanted to use the relocation to inspire a company culture change, and it was essential that the new headquarters serve as a staff recruitment tool. The transition needed a new type of workplace, one that provided multiple options for meeting, collaboration, lounging, and impromptu gatherings. Our design team worked with Pulte in the early planning stages to determine the amount and type of space needed to fulfill its vision.
Pulte's new office features a five-story interconnecting staircase, large conferencing areas, multi-purpose rooms, and casual meeting areas including a living room, breakfast room, cafe, and outdoor terrace. The result is a clean, sophisticated, and modern workplace that showcases Pulte’s high-end products while fostering energy, connectivity, and collaboration.
