This inviting and vibrant building pushes innovative healthcare design forward to support the community
Rady Children’s Medical Plaza is a welcoming and accessible building designed to serve the growing population of southwest Riverside County.
The four-acre site contains a three-story ambulatory care facility with surface parking including patient drop-off configuration to support medical clinic use. The multi-specialty clinics include radiology, orthopedics, EENT, optometry, gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, behavioral and developmental health, a physical therapy gym, and children’s primary care and urgent care. A special and unique aspect of this facility is the autism day school, which is adjacent to a secured, exclusive use exterior playground, and the day school program has classrooms and developmental evaluation space. Due to rapid changes in the healthcare field, the building is designed to support a variety of clinic types and can be reconfigured as needed.
This project marks the first satellite clinical facility for Rady Children’s Hospital. Our design team catered to the needs of the growing community while bringing open spaces, natural lighting, and vibrant and inviting interior spaces to create a welcoming and comfortable environment.
