Santa Rosa Main Street Revitalization
Funded by Main Street New Mexico as part of the Route 66 Centennial Celebration for 2026, the Santa Rosa Main Street Project aims to revitalize a historic site with amenities and improvements. The City of Santa Rosa engaged our team to provide surveying, civil engineering, landscape design, and construction administration and observation services.
We developed a plan for overall landscaping, which includes a rose garden, metal plant sculptures, shade trees, gravel, and a turf area with picnic tables and game area. We also designed a new parking lot with Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps along with driveways and sidewalks. Additionally, our team worked with the City on their Main Street Funding application, through which they obtained $830,000 toward construction.
Designed to serve as a vibrant gathering place, the improved site will host farmer's markets, dances, craft fairs, food truck events, and community activities, enhancing the experience for both locals and visitors in Santa Rosa.

I find that landscape architecture is most successful when it blends art, nature, science, engineering, and people together.
