Shaw Air Force Base - Replace JET-A Fill Stands
Working with multiple air force and government contractor stakeholders, Stantec developed alternative site plans for a more efficient, consolidated High Speed Fill Stands (HSFS) layout. Each alternative plan provided guidance, siting and future requirements for mission critical functions HSFS, aircraft fueling operations, storage and distribution, contractor operations, aircraft maintenance, security and ATFP measures.
Work products included a facility study report, a site characterization report, a project development brochure, an estimate of probable construction cost, economic analysis and a front page DD Form1391. Based on these reports and studies, Stantec determined construction and renovation requirements that justify and guide the future development of the construction project.
