When you’re looking to expand—to create a second flagship campus—there are three very important things that you need to consider: location, location, and location.
Summit Medical Group (SMG) is the largest private practice physician group in New Jersey. We worked alongside them to evaluate several potential site locations for a four-story medical office building and ambulatory surgery center that would offer efficient, patient-centered care and space for multiple specialties. The key factors? Location, overall functionality, and financial justification.
Once the site was chosen, we worked with SMG to create a project team—then we managed the process through design, construction, and occupancy. Now completed, this state of the art building has an urgent care center and diagnostic imaging suite. Upstairs, there are over 12 various medical offices with a common registration and waiting area. The top floor has a state of the art ASC and seven operating rooms.
With this new facility, Summit Medical Group is expanding their reach and their capacity for patient care.
