Developing an effective, efficient patient-centered design for Summit Medical Group
Summit Medical Group was developing two facilities, one renovation in Westfield and one new build in Livingston. Each would include an efficient, patient-centered design and a number of specialty practices focused on increasing standard of care and patient satisfaction.
Both facilities have urgent care centers on the main floor with adjacent diagnostic imaging suites. They both also include phlebotomy labs, ear-nose-throat-suites, and speech/audiology facilities. On the second floor, both buildings’ specialty services are centered around common waiting spaces.
Where the new Livingston location includes cardiology, dermatology, family internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, surgery, endocrinology, and pulmonary areas, the Westfield location includes a physical therapy department, an orthopedic suite, and a new generator to support full emergency power capabilities.
With these two new facilities, Summit Medical Group is better prepared to offer excellent service through their medical office buildings to their patients.
