Delivering a grand vision for the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard
The design intent was to create a distinctly Las Vegas aesthetic, using the oversized, free-thinking bombast of the Strip as a reference for the program, experience, and décor. The Elysium was a dream project for Las Vegas—an entertainment complex that included elements far exceeding a five-star resort.
So, what sets it apart? Our design included a porte-avion that allows private aircraft to arrive directly at the resort and drop off guests who never touch the ground from aircraft to lobby. The resort was assembled with three sculptural towers and an expressive podium connecting the complex on five levels. The pool area is designed as a year-round facility with a distinctive shell-like structure set on rails that allows for the entire pool area to be covered or open-air—the largest retractable roof to cover a water recreation area in the world. This area is flanked by three dramatically sculpted retail platforms incorporating high-end shopping and a multitude of food and beverage offerings.
The project is located on the south portion of the famous Las Vegas strip and brings free-flowing form and unique programming not yet seen in Las Vegas.
