University of Houston, Clear Lake - Arbor Building

One day this building will serve as the home of a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Today, it houses the growing art department curriculum alongside multi-use spaces that serve many areas of the university. The Arbor Building delivers flexible, appropriate, and inspiring spaces.

The facility includes confidential and functional spaces for psychological testing—and counselling services for the community. Safe and compliant teaching spaces are available for science students of all ages.

Additional academic space is delivered through a combination of new construction and renovated areas. The new space is divided into two major buildings—the north addition, which houses art function, and the south addition, which includes the educational, counseling, and psychology functions.

The new north facility contains classrooms, studios, courtyards, outdoor work areas, and faculty offices. There’s even a gallery for display and critique of student works. The new south facility features observation spaces, a science classroom, group meeting spaces, and a clinic for autism study.
