Virginia Department of Transportation Right of Way Acquisition On-Call

Since 2014 our team held a task-based, on-call contract with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for their southeast region. When that expired, we were awarded a similar contract for their western region in 2017 that will run until 2026.

In our work with VDOT, we’ve provided project management, appraisal, negotiation, relocation, and technical advisory services for multiple projects throughout the state. Though these services aren’t the first to come to mind when you think about transportation projects, they are the unseen elements that are necessary for building vital infrastructure like freeways, tunnels, bridges, and multi-use paths.

Our right-of-way work makes these projects possible and eases traffic congestion in communities throughout the Commonwealth—hopefully making your commute a little easier.
