Located at the intersection of Boston’s Fort Point Channel and the bustling Seaport, Watermark Seaport is artfully integrated

At the threshold between Boston’s charming Fort Point Channel and the Bustling Seaport, Watermark Seaport is at the center of the neighborhood’s unprecedented revitalization.

Boston's Seaport District is humming with energy as the city's development boom builds momentum. Watermark Seaport is an important element in this historic transformation. Skillfully sited between the early 20th Century brick warehouses of Fort Point Channel Historic District and the glassy towers in the Seaport, the project serves as a gateway between the city's storied past and its promising future.

The project is comprised of two buildings joined by a common entry lobby. This lobby is designed as a continuation of Stillings Street and was designed to maintain pathways and natural boundaries from the Fort Point District to the Seaport.  The smaller “loft style” building is scaled to fit appropriately with the historic district, while the taller 17-story tower links Watermark Seaport to densely scaled new development along Seaport Boulevard and the Harbor. Designed to appeal to a broad demographic and provide a distinctive lifestyle, Watermark Seaport offers a variety of unit types, as well as a full amenities package, and it features 25,000 sf of ground floor retail that will energize the street and introduce much-needed local services to new residents.

Housing satisfies a universal human need, and in that mandate there is the challenge I relish: design solutions at a range of scales, from the individual eye and hand to the macro level of a city.
