Eric is a principal with Stantec’s Water Advisory Services team who helps drive key business initiatives, specifically as they pertain to our Financial Services and Management group.
Eric combines practical engineering expertise with research-driven insights. In his current role, he partners with water providers, users, managers, and regulators to guide strategic, long-term decisions that provide sustainable water management.
Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Eric is a geospatial data analyst and drone pilot. Bringing nearly 18 years of experience to his role, he’s provided support on over 500 projects across both the public and private sector.

As a senior principal and geotechnical practice lead, Eric provides project leadership for clients across the United States. His project experience includes roadways, bridges, and geohazards such as landslides, rockfall, and abandoned mine settling.
With more than a decade of professional design experience, particularly in the healthcare sector, Eric has guided multiple large projects through all phases of design and documentation.
As an electrical engineer, Eric has been involved with multifaceted projects of varying complexity—this includes the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, and the Jansen mine.
Eric is a structural engineer with 28 years of local and international experience. His portfolio includes residential and office developments such as adaptive reuse heritage projects plus institutional, medical, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Eric is a chartered civil engineer and project manager, who has nearly two decades of experience delivering local and state-significant infrastructure projects, particularly stormwater and flooding infrastructure efforts.
