As a portfolio risk manager, John works across the IT, construction, and infrastructure sectors—he optimizes delivery through neutralizing threats and exploiting opportunities, and forecasts delivery using statistical modeling of schedule and cost.
John has more than 24 years of experience designing, costing, and managing the implementation of environmental assessments, hydrogeological investigations and remediation projects.
A licensed landscape architect, John is experienced in visual impact assessment. He’s worked on power generation and transmission projects—including solar, wind, biomass, liquid natural gas (LNG), natural gas-powered facilities, and power lines.
John acts as the design team leader on our projects. There, he creates and coordinates innovative and sustainable multidisciplinary design solutions from inception through to completion.
John has over 25 years of experience in the water sector and helps to position and engage our clients, as well as provide the right resources for project success.
John is a principal and mechanical engineer with Stantec’s Buildings group. While he has experience in multiple sectors, he currently focuses on designing systems for biopharmaceutical facilities.
An experienced systems engineer, John has a three-decade track record of successful complex project delivery. Although specializing in hydropower, John has worked on a broad range of technologies, project environments, and disciplines.
