Doug is a principal with more than twenty years of experience designing complex healthcare facilities. Having provided architecture services on numerous proton therapy projects, Doug’s priority is to provide functional, healing patient environments.

Doug is an accomplished development planner who has a passion for sustainable development and community revitalization, shaping urban landscapes that enhance quality of life for residents and future generations alike.
Doug has nearly 40 years of experience consulting with utilities on drinking water, wastewater, and water reuse treatment and facility planning. He currently serves as program manager for the City of San Diego’s Pure Water Program.
Doug may live in the desert, but the work he does certainly isn’t dry. A principal in our Las Vegas office, he manages a structural engineering design team made up of engineers and a BIM designer.
A senior principal, Doug is a regional growth leader with Stantec’s Environmental Services (US East) group. He specializes in risk assessments, ecological impact assessments, environmental regulations, coastal resiliency, and nature-based solutions.
A vice president, Doug has 30 years of experience in the design and management of civil and infrastructure projects. He’s passionate about maintaining high levels of engagement and has worked with both public and private clients.
With over 35 years’ of industry experience, Doug is an internationally recognized coastal and ocean engineering expert. He brings his technical expertise to major coastal and port projects and was part of the Wonder Reef project on the Gold Coast.
