Neil provides environmental assessment and management leadership for major development and infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. He has led some of Stantec’s most complex environmental impact assessments (EIAs), advising public and private sector clients on projects spanning strategic land, urban regeneration, transport, energy, and water infrastructure. His approach is practical and proportionate, balancing robust environmental assessment with clear planning pathways and reliable project delivery.
As a chartered environmentalist and member of the Institute of Sustainable Environmental Practice, Neil is a trusted technical authority in EIA delivery. He brings particular expertise in complex planning and consenting processes, including planning appeals. He is also known for leading multidisciplinary teams and embedding environmental thinking across design, planning, and delivery, including supporting the development of specialist services such as environmental lighting assessment.
Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, drawing inspiration from local landscapes that reinforce his commitment to thoughtful, sustainable development.
