John has overseen architecture and urban design projects across the US, Africa, the Middle East, and China. These have included efforts in the civic, mission critical, science and technology, higher education, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
A design exchange leader, John guides our Fabrication, Storytelling, and Studio X teams to expand how design ideas are tested, built, and communicated. His work centers on strengthening design practice through applied research, prototyping, and clear narrative, supporting teams as ideas move from exploration to execution.
Outside of work, John has taught design studios and served as a critic at multiple universities, contributing to the education of emerging architects and designers. Drawing on this experience, he builds shared methods, cultivates design culture, and enables designers to work with clarity and rigor within complex projects and organizational systems.
