Chris has more than four decades of experience in the electrical industry, primarily working as a consulting engineer. Contributing to the construction of significant buildings throughout New Zealand, he has worked on a diverse range of projects. These include hotels, retirement homes, healthcare facilities, commercial office spaces, court buildings, and swimming pools.
To Chris, seeing a project come to life is the most rewarding feeling—he enjoys collaborating with clients and the design team to make their vision a reality. His design strengths include low-voltage power systems, lighting, telecommunications, security, and nurse call. One of his most memorable projects involved working as electrical and project lead for updating a theatre with designated heritage-status areas.
Away from his electrical engineering work, you’ll usually find Chris mountain biking in the Port Hills over the weekend. His other hobbies include hiking and landscape photography.
