With a background in hydraulics and mechanical design, Kyle focuses on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, hydropower facilities, and radial gates for large dams. He works on projects throughout their lifecycle, from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
Kyle enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams, tackling challenges, and contributing to the development and construction of local and international infrastructure. He returned to New Zealand from the United Kingdom in late 2025 after working on the development and design of significant hydro projects. This experience included a large pump storage hydro station where he was seconded for two years as a mechanical technical project manager. There, he was responsible for leading the mechanical workstream and coordinating with the lead design/build contractor and invested parties through the early design phase.
Away from his desk, you’re likely to find Kyle running, kicking a ball around with his football team, or watching rugby. He also loves exploring new places around the world.
