Gulf Rise Residential Care Engineering Design

Gulf Rise consists of 189 apartments and 35 villas, providing residents with a comfortable and modern living environment in a park-like setting.

Working closely with Metlifecare, the architect, and other contractors, we provided mechanical, electrical, fire protection and hydraulic design services. Drawing on our extensive experience in aged care facilities, we integrated sustainable design principles to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, as well as meet resident and client requirements

We also worked with the contractor to identify, evaluate, and incorporate potential value engineering opportunities as the design progressed. On the fire protection side, for example, we rationalised site infrastructure to decrease ongoing maintenance costs, including serving several buildings from one set of control valves.

Collaboration was key to understanding project staging and tailoring our services and designs to fit both budget and design requirements. We also helped determine that the site infrastructure would allow for growth to serve future stages as efficiently as possible while reducing disruption to completed stages.

In addition to apartment and villa style living options, residents have access to a range of facilities and amenities including a café, lounge, activity space, pool, gym, hair salon, and office and administration areas.
