José Luis is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience working on large mining projects. He provides quality assurance and quality control services for efforts involving roller-compacted concrete dams, hard fill dams, and concrete dams. He also provides quality assurance for projects involving engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM) delivery. He has a strong background in management systems, project management and administration, and lean construction.
Driven to provide technical solutions to everyday problems in the field of civil engineering, José Luis works closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver desired results. He also enjoys getting the opportunity to learn about new things from the projects he works on. One such project was the Vizcachas roller-compacted concrete dam during which he encountered a new gravity dam construction technology.
Away from the world of mining, José Luis enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing soccer with his kids.
