Specializing in bridge design for transportation projects, Katherine has contributed to bridge replacements and rehabilitation projects. These include structural design and analysis, estimates, contract documents, utility relocation design, aesthetic treatments, and efforts to reduce impacts to traffic and the community.
Katherine has worked on projects with challenging site conditions such as steep grades, significant skew, complex geometry, and tight site constraints. She’s also been involved with projects that improve pedestrian access by adding and connecting sidewalks and bringing them compliant into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. She is also an active member of Women Advancing Transportation (WTS).
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys exploring new places and hidden gems, from the mountains to the coast.
