Join our water team at the 2025 CIWEM Urban Drainage Group Annual Conference in Birmingham. We will be on hand to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the industry.

Meet the team at the Stantec exhibition stand, where we’ll be talking about how our teams support water clients across the UK and Ireland. We’re interested to hear your views on the key challenges shaping the water industry as we look to 2026.
On the agenda, our teams will explore storm overflow discharge management, the importance of UDGs in a changing world, and best practices for urban drainage modelling in a data-rich era.
Throughout the week, our team will feature on several sessions:
Tuesday 4 November
11:15–13:00: Join Hannah Howe, senior principal and urban drainage modeller, alongside Adam Boucher of Severn Trent, as they present project learnings from ‘Nature-based Solutions in Practice: Modelling the Impact of SuDS in Mansfield'.
Wednesday 5 November
09:00–10:00: Join senior technical director Elliot Gill as he features on a panel focused on the Urban Drainage Group’s role in a changing world.
14:00–15:45: Join technical director Jo Kelsey as she presents on ‘Rewriting the Rules: Industry Best Practice for Urban Drainage Modelling in a Data-rich Era’.
Thursday 6 November
09:00–11:00: Join Benjamin Sterratt and Connor Wilson for their presentation on ‘Data Analytics for Storm Overflow Triage’.
14:15-15:30: Join technical director, Mahesh Iyer, as he discusses how the Improving Urban Waters team accelerated product design & delivery in storm overflows, through standardisation and collaboration.
