Founded in 1954 as a one-person firm in Edmonton, Alberta, Stantec commemorated its 70^th anniversary in 2024. Following its IPO in 1994, Stantec welcomed Revay and Associates in Canada through the first acquisition. Most recently, the 150^th acquisition brought 1,400 architecture and engineering employees from the US-based Page, expanding the firm’s Buildings practice.
