Stantec appoints Andrew Bates as Head of Operational Services

Stantec has bolstered its asset management practice with the appointment of Andrew Bates, Head of Operational Services for its UK and Ireland business.

Andrew joins Stantec from Binnies, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of operations and maintenance services - delivering targeted improvements aimed at increasing asset resilience, reliability, performance and reducing cost. In his new role, Andrew will focus on the development of asset management services that help our clients transform and improve their asset management capability and approach.

With over 30 years working within the water industry, Andrew brings to the role a wealth of experience in delivering client focused solutions, systems integration, optimization and maintenance strategies for water assets.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said: “This is an exciting time to join Stantec and I very much look forward to helping our water clients thrive in the face of the many challenges facing the sector.
