Stantec opens new Exeter office

Stantec is pleased to announce that our new Exeter office is now open. The office, located in The Ada Lovelace Building on the Exeter Science Park, will be Stantec’s first office in the Devon and Cornwall region and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the South West.

The new office, located at junction 29 of the M5, makes it easy for us to stay connected throughout the region. The team in Exeter will work closely with teams in Taunton, Bristol and also Cardiff to deliver schemes that help local communities to thrive.

Stantec is working on several transformational infrastructure projects in the region including the North Devon Link Road, the implementation of Active Travel schemes, and major water treatment works to sewer upgrades and blue green infrastructure with South West Water.

Our teams are helping create employment opportunities with schemes like Gravity, Notaro Park, and Nexus and, through projects like Filton, Seabrook Orchard, and Cranbrook, are working to build much-needed new homes. In addition, we are working with District and County Councils to secure funding to improve communities through the Levelling Up Fund, Future High Street Fund and Towns Deal.  

The new office in Exeter will provide additional development opportunities for our people, giving them a new base to operate from and allowing them to build their colleague, client and industry networks. We are also actively recruiting throughout the region to grow the Stantec family and increase the resources available to work on transformational projects for the region.

Commenting on the new office, Sally Walters, Operations Director and Exeter office lead, said: “Stantec has had a presence in the South West for many years but we are keen to grow so we can better support the region. Adding a new location means our teams can become more deeply embedded with local communities, allowing us to develop our understanding of what’s important to local authorities, clients and people in the South West.

“We’re delighted to be able to open our new Devon and Cornwall base at the Exeter Science Park, the Park offers sustainable, energy efficient office space to businesses in the science, technology, engineering, maths, and medical sectors. Just like the South West, Exeter Science Park has plans for growth and aims to provide employment space to more than 3,500 people by 2035. Stantec is thrilled to be part of this growing community.”
