Stantec strengthens UK energy advisory offering with strategic hires

New appointments bring advanced change management and digital information management experience to major infrastructure programmes

03/24/2026 LONDON, UK TSX, NYSE:STN

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and environmental consulting, has expanded its UK Energy Advisory Services team with the addition of Brendan Dickey and Rebecca Moss. The two strategic appointments reinforce Stantec’s commitment to deliver innovative solutions for clients across the energy sector.

Dickey joins as senior principal PMO consultant, bringing extensive experience in change management and programme assurance. With a history of providing portfolio‑level oversight of major change initiatives at Transport for London, Dickey will support clients in optimising delivery models, enhancing governance, and embedding best practice across large-scale capital works. His remit includes advising on regulatory and risk-based frameworks, performance monitoring, and business improvement. In his new position, he’ll help clients achieve defined and ambitious outcomes efficiently.

“What attracted me to Stantec was its clear sense of purpose and the way it connects major capital delivery with long-term outcomes for communities and the environment,” said Dickey. “As the pace of infrastructure delivery accelerates, my focus is on helping clients put the right governance, and ways of working in place to enable effective execution, while still maintaining grip and strategic alignment across the whole lifecycle.”

Excellence in information management
Moss, previously a project information manager at a national energy supplier, is recognised for her expertise in digital tools and common data environments. She has worked directly with Autodesk to configure and deploy the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform for major energy projects, enabling seamless collaboration and robust information management. In her new role, Moss will oversee the rollout of ACC across multi-billion-pound infrastructure programmes for key clients and support more innovative data-driven project delivery.

“As projects become more data-driven and asset owners take a whole life view, the way information is structured, managed, and used is becoming increasingly critical,” said Rebecca Moss. “I’m excited to join Stantec because of the Company’s integrated, collaborative approach, and the opportunity to help clients turn information into a strategic asset. This supports better decision-making, improved asset performance, greater efficiency, and more sustainable outcomes.”

Both Dickey and Moss will be seconded to client teams, working closely with stakeholders to tailor solutions that address evolving industry challenges. Their appointments are in line with Stantec’s strategy to grow its advisory services across nuclear, transmission and distribution, waterpower and dams, waste, and mineral sectors, supporting clients with commercial, regulatory, and digital advisory expertise.

Supporting clients with transformation efforts
“These hires demonstrate our commitment to strengthening advisory services for UK energy clients, but also partners in other sectors, said Paul Gowans, energy advisory lead for Stantec in the UK. “Brendan’s proven track record in change management and Rebecca’s unique digital insight will help our clients deliver complex programmes with confidence and measurable results.”
