Cailum helps organisations understand how their buildings perform and what it takes to achieve meaningful reductions in energy use and carbon emissions. He focuses on operational energy, decarbonisation strategies, energy modelling, and embodied carbon. His project experience includes creating net zero strategies for facilities, conducting operational energy modeling and whole life carbon assessments, as well as transition planning aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative—a global corporate climate organisation.
Over the course of his career, Cailum has been involved with the delivery of hundreds of National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) ratings on projects across Australia. He has also been involved in commissioning and integration of critical systems and services for energy projects across Asia. Now based in London, he’s leading our NABERS UK team, helping clients apply performance-driven approaches to improve outcomes for commercial real estate, healthcare, science and technology, and data centre projects.
When he isn’t helping clients optimise energy use and decarbonisation, Cailum enjoys cooking, cycling, and learning new languages.
