A full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), Janine has over 15 years of experience across local government, Historic England, and private consultancy. With qualifications in architecture and historic conservation, she brings design understanding, technical judgement, and a pragmatic approach to managing change in the historic environment. She advises clients and multidisciplinary teams on complex development, regeneration, and conservation projects, from listed buildings and historic landscapes to major residential, commercial, energy, and infrastructure schemes.
Janine has experience leading Leicester’s High Street Heritage Action Zone and advising on important conservation projects at Withcote Hall and Taylor’s Bell Foundry. She has also negotiated sensitive development at Leicester Cathedral and many highly graded heritage assets including major country houses.
When she isn’t working on heritage efforts, Janine enjoys running, countryside outings, interiors, and visiting historic places with her family.
