Simon is an environmental consultant and Chartered Waste Manager with over 20 years of consultancy experience. He leads our Permitting and Compliance team in the UK and is responsible for managing and delivering projects across the water, infrastructure, buildings, and energy and resources sectors.
An environmental scientist by trade, Simon has a background in environmental permitting, closed landfill management, landfill and ground gas modelling, land quality assessment, site investigation design, and supervision. He is also experienced in environmental auditing, monitoring, and compliance. He has provided environmental permitting support to industrial, waste management, and regulated water clients on major new electric vehicle battery manufacturing, landfill/deposit for recovery, and nuclear and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Away from work, Simon is a very keen cyclist—road, mountain bike, and gravel—and likes to get out in the hills as often as family and work permits.
