David has over 15 years of experience as a chartered environmental professional working on environmental assessments. Collaborating with technical leads, he advises large, interdisciplinary design teams and provides pragmatic environmental solutions and creating value for clients.
As an environmental planning associate director, he conducts environmental impact assessment (EIA) reviews to meet the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Act for major infrastructure projects. He authors and completes quality assurance for technical, environmental, and ecological chapters and EIA non-technical summaries, in preparation for planning submissions and public inquiry. He has also successfully delivered project outcomes for local planning authorities, National Highways, Network Rail, Transport Scotland, and Transport Northern Ireland.
In his free time, David enjoys taking road trips around Europe with his family and growing vegetables on his allotment.
