With more than two decades of experience, Andrew is a civil engineer who leads our Flood Risk and Sustainable Drainage team in the Southwest. In this role, he provides flood risk assessments, flood modelling, water framework directive assessments, and sustainable drainage designs for a range of land development projects.
Andrew works with landscape architects and Ecology teams to create policy compliant SuDS designs that provide integrated water management, amenity, and ecological benefits to developments. He also leads our Nutrient Neutrality assessment team, providing advice and mitigation for developments including integrated constructed wetlands. Andrew has been involved in public consultations including presentation and direct liaison with authorities and residents affected by schemes.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys being outside as much as possible doing activities such as mountain biking, running, and hill walking with his family and dog (which generally includes hunting for toadstools—not to eat). He also enjoys photography and drawing or painting.
