Chris is a chartered civil engineer with 25 years of experience delivering sustainable solutions for water companies and local authorities. He specialises in surface water management, sustainable drainage design, and project technical leadership.
As head of technical delivery in the United Kingdom (UK), Chris is responsible for developing the project delivery community, processes, and governance practices that help effectively deliver projects. He is a key contributor to our health and safety, quality, and sustainability practices in the UK. Chris is a Lean construction practitioner and is passionate about adapting new technologies and implementing digital solutions for project collaboration, managing information, and design innovation. A highlight of his was applying innovation to design green infrastructure measures for the Whitburn Spills project.
When he’s not working, Chris enjoys walking, cycling, and surfing in all seasons as well as spending time with his children.
