Steve is a chartered water and environmental manager with 30 years of experience in environmental assessment, environmental planning, sustainable development, aquatic resource management, and freshwater and marine ecology. Besides working in the UK, Steve has overseas experience in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.
He has worked across a range of sectors and has extensive experience leading and growing successful business units. He brings together and manages multidisciplinary teams to work on complex and challenging projects such as environmental impact assessments for Liverpool Waters (a major mixed-use development at Liverpool docks) and for the International Advanced Manufacturing Park at Sunderland.
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), Steve knows the value of professional bodies and industry groups, and he enjoys the opportunities to mentor team members, network, and promote best practices. He also chairs CIEEM’s marine and coastal group, often giving conference presentations and writing technical articles.
