With over two decades of experience in the architectural field, Romy has a record of delivering projects in diverse sectors including leisure, retail, industrial, office, energy, and urban regeneration residential projects. He currently leads a talented team of designers across our Reading and London Offices to design and deliver high profile, exceptional projects.
Romy brings with him a comprehensive knowledge of project-running skills with an emphasis on design. Some recent notable projects feature the delivery of a 124-bed apart-hotel in the heart of Dalston, refurbishment of an historic industrial building at the Chocolate Factory, Woodgreen, and refurbishment of existing offices into modern co-working units. But the biggest highlight? Greyfriars Road, an expansive, multimillion-pound office redevelopment scheme in central Reading attained a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Outstanding rating, the only building to do so out of London—and it also scooped a British Council for Offices award.
Outside of work, Romy is an avid cricket and tennis player, enjoys exploring new cuisines and destinations, and can often be found engrossed in a good book. Additionally, he is passionate about supporting his local community and actively participates in a learning-to-work initiative.
