Narinder is a chartered chemical engineer and a fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). He has a masters of science and a masters of business administration. He’s worked as a senior manager or technical specialist on several Asset Management Plan (AMP) programmes including Wessex (AMP3), United Utilities (AMP3), Southern Water (AMP4/5), Thames Water (AMP6), United Utilities (AMP7), and Yorkshire Water (AMP8).
Over the course of his career, Narinder has applied innovation to capital programmes to reduce their cost through collaborative technology development. For example, the Southern Water AMP4/5 project was particularly successful being delivered on time and well below budget thanks to the innovative application of technology.
Outside the office, Narinder is an IChemE mentor and trained IChemE interviewer who has supported many graduates through to chartership. Encouraging the next generation of chemical engineers is close to his heart, and he organises career events and work experience with local schools
