Working with our team in Shrewsbury, Andrew is a hydrogeologist, chartered by the Geological Society, with 18 years of experience in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He combines practical knowledge of field hydrogeology with technical expertise and project management skills.
Andrew has extensive experience in dewatering assessments and hydrogeological impact assessments for quarry developments in a wide range of geological conditions. This involves robust hydrogeological conceptualisation, prediction of environmental impacts and design of monitoring and mitigation measures. He also has considerable experience of undertaking quarry abstraction licence applications, as well as discharge activity and waste permitting. Andrew is also involved with regional geological conceptualisation and quantification of the impacts of public water supplies on the water environment for the water industry. Additionally, he has worked on quantitative controlled waters risk assessment projects.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits including walking and beekeeping.
