Clyde Court Student Living

Operated by Homes for Students under its Prestige Student Living brand, Clyde Court brings 169 studio rooms to help support accommodations for the University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde.

To help bring this project to life, our mechanical, engineering, and public health (MEP) team acted for developers, Urbanite Living, for RIBA Stages 1-5, with our fire engineers engaged from RIBA Stages 2-4.

Designing the services for Clyde Court, our engineers integrated the combined heat and power (CHP) system and the solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on the building's living roof. We also made sure power solutions were provided for the electric vehicle charging stations.

Our team developed the fire strategy for the building and supported Urbanite Living to meet all fire regulations and secure building control approvals. We also assisted with the external wall fire review, and completion of the External Wall System Fire Review (EWS1) form.

Adjacent to the River Clyde and Glasgow Green, Clyde Court provides en-suite accommodation with amenities including two private dining kitchens, two social study rooms, a cinema, gym, cycle store, breakout spaces, and external public realm improvements.

Clyde Court opened its doors to students at the start of 2025.
