An anticipated delivery of the Power Court site in Luton

In 2016, the Luton Town Football Club, through Luton2020 Developments, acquired a development site for their new football stadium, based in Newlands Park. The aim? To see the area, Power Court, transform from a post-industrial problem site into a dynamic and exciting extension to the town centre.

The proposal is aimed at delivering new facilities that will enhance and complement the life and vibrancy of the town—every single day and every evening of the year. Our team continues to provide a range of supporting technical services through the planning process and towards the anticipated delivery of Power Court site.

Upon completion, an impressive and iconic stadium design with a capacity of 23,000 will sit on a raised podium which allows access to a range of public and multi-use spaces. The plans also include a new River Lea frontage for St Mary’s Road within an enhanced public space to complement the grade 1-listed St Mary’s church, around 500 residential apartments distributed across 5 blocks, approximately 5,000 square metres of bars, restaurants, lifestyle retail units, a small niche cinema, a 1,800 capacity live music venue, hotel, banquet venue, and a new supermarket.
