Waverley – Brownfield Redevelopment

Waverley is one of the biggest brownfield redevelopments in the United Kingdom. The client’s vision is for a flagship site that provides new homes, the UK's leading Advanced Manufacturing Park, and community facilities including a new school, neighbourhood centre, and 300 acres (121 hectares) of lakes and green spaces.

Over a decade ago, Harworth Group appointed our team to support the delivery of the multi-phased scheme, and we’ve been providing masterplanning and strategic planning services ever since. In addition, we have provided environmental impact assessment, landscaping, graphic design and sustainability services to progress this scheme to the final phases of delivery.

Working together, our teams have made sure the necessary infrastructure is in place to bring forward housing and commercial development in a timely manner to meet the needs of the community. Recently, a commercial local centre has been approved and is now under construction. When complete, it will form the heart of the development and housing community with health facilities as well as leisure and retail.

Since its inception, Waverley has grown and evolved into a thriving community. The residents are proud to live there and have become a key part of the iterative planning and masterplan process over the years.
