Hydraulic Hoisting

Vertically pumping evaporite ore materials from the mine to the surface

Conventional evaporite ore mining typically requires an expensive, large diameter vertical shaft and a hoisting plant. The hoisting plant’s skips (conveyors) are loaded with broken ore on the mining level and then lifted to surface where the contents are unloaded.

The hoisting rate is dependent on the skip cycle time. The challenge? Expanding a conventional hoisting plant is time-consuming and requires the suspension of mining operations.

Our Hydraulic Hoisting concept enables evaporite mine operators to increase their hoisting capacity at a fraction of the cost and construction time required to expand conventional hoisting methods.

By separating the fine particle distribution from the coarse, mine operators may divert as much as 50 percent of mined material through the Hydraulic Hoisting system. This frees up the conventional skip system to accommodate additional capacity.

The bottom line? Our patented solution can increase the efficiency and profitability of your mining operations.
