Rich loves the moment when a concept becomes a plan and a plan becomes reality. He has designed sports facilities for every level of athletic competition, both in Texas and across the US. He understands how these facilities are used and operated, allowing him to help our clients implement practical designs that improve efficiency and day-to-day operations.
Three decades of programming and designing athletic facilities and spectator venues have taught Rich that a strong process results in a strong outcome. He begins all his work by carefully reviewing the constraints and associated systems, and then thoroughly researches processes and materials he’s unfamiliar with. This results in what he finds to be the most rewarding kind of project: one that is finished with shared pride and real joy.
Away from work, Rich finds his best moments outside, making memories with friends and family. His most recent obsession is saltwater flyfishing.
