Stantec names growth leaders in the US and Canada
Newly created roles will focus on strategy, client engagement, and expanded services

Stantec, a global integrated design firm, recently promoted two senior leaders to newly created roles for its global Buildings practice. Zackery House and Dean Kaardal have been named regional growth leader for US Engineering and regional growth leader for Canada, respectively.
As the inaugural regional growth leaders, House and Kaardal will drive revenue through strategic initiatives, organic growth, client relationship development, and service/market expansion.
Regional growth leader for US Engineering
Zackery House recently joined Stantec through the acquisition of ESD, where he was CEO for the 300+ person national engineering practice. In his new role, House will focus on bringing together Stantec’s more than 800 Buildings engineers to support firm’s integrated design services while expanding client relationships, developing growth strategies, and implementing diversification efforts.
Regional growth leader for Canada
Dean Kaardal, P.Eng, is a 35-year Stantec veteran whose prior roles included acting as regional business leader for Western Canada and alternative project delivery sector lead for Buildings. With a focus on client partnerships, he will bring together teams from across geographies, disciplines, and markets to deepen client relationships, diversity Stantec’s position, and explore opportunities to grow organically.
