March 27, 2026

Firm recognized for its leadership presence

Stantec is proud to be on The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine 2026 Women Lead Here list, which evaluates executive teams with women in senior leadership roles. Women make up a significant presence across the Company’s board of directors and C-suite leadership team—reflecting a broad mix of experiences and perspectives that strengthen decision-making, governance, and long-term performance.

Report on Business evaluated nearly 500 Canadian companies on leadership composition, performance, and year-over-year progress. This year, 86 organizations earned the Women Lead Here designation, recognizing measurable gains in leadership representation through a proprietary research methodology. Established in 2020, the annual list serves as an editorial benchmark for executive leadership presence among major Canadian corporations. Stantec was previously recognized in 2022 and 2023.

“This recognition speaks to the collaborative culture we’ve built across our leadership team, where a range of perspectives are valued and contribute to stronger decisions,” said Asifa Samji, chief human resources officer for Stantec. “We foster an environment grounded in opportunity, accountability, and respect, where people are encouraged to stretch, grow, and make an impact across the organization.”

Stantec’s Better Together culture comes to life through opportunities that help people connect, develop, and take on new responsibilities throughout their careers. Employee-led networks—such as Women at Stantec, which has 45 chapters around the world—play a key role in networking, professional development, and formal mentorship for team members at every career stage.
