Drawing on his background as a senior mechanical engineer with Scottish Water, Jim provides technical support and governance on a portfolio of Uisce Éireann water and waste treatment projects at all stages, from concept to detailed design. He places a key focus on health, safety, quality and environment (HSQE) issues during the design and construction phases of project delivery.
In his day-to-day, Jim enjoys the diverse nature of the engineering and design problems he encounters. He currently manages a team of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation engineers, providing core engineering support to project teams in water and wastewater projects.
Previously, Jim spent 27 years in the oil and gas industry. He is a UK chartered engineer and held senior positions such as senior project engineer, engineering manager, and project manager on both onshore and offshore greenfield and brownfield projects.
Away from work, you’ll find Jim pursuing his passion for the outdoors—whether that’s mountain biking, sea swimming, or running.
